We’re proud to announce that we will be taking part in Access Becomes Art: World Ballet Day 2025!
On Wednesday 12 November, the 24-hour global celebration of dance returns with the theme of Radical Accessibility. We’ll be joining ballet companies around the world in exploring new ways to co-create with disabled perspectives and expand access to our art form.
As part of the occasion, we will be sharing Freefall Dance Company’s recent performance of Luminous on the main stage at Birmingham Hippodrome. Choreographed by Freefall's director, Lee Fisher, Luminous is a short piece inspired by Black Sabbath – The Ballet and was performed as a curtain raiser before the main company performance on Friday 26 September. Find out what the audience thought below.
Tune in at 2pm on Wednesday 12 November to watch the live stream performance here on this page, or on our YouTube and Facebook channels.
