About BRB2: Carlos Acosta's Ballet Celebration
BRB2, Birmingham Royal Ballet's second company, embarks on its fourth UK tour in May 2026.
Described as 'pinsharp and personality laden' by The Daily Telegraph, BRB2 brings together some of the world's very best young dancers, the international stars of the future, to share their incredible talent.
Carlos Acosta created this brand-new gala production for BRB2 in 2025, featuring highlights from the repertory of Sergei Diaghilev's troupe of rebel dancers, musicians and designers who fled Russia to set a new standard in creativity that inspires and resonates across the world of dance to this day.
Repertory includes The Firebird, Le Spectre de la rose, Les Sylphides, Les Biches and Shéhérazade.
BRB2 is generously supported by multi-year gifts from the Oak Foundation, Charles Holloway OBE, Jerwood Foundation, Linbury Trust, Mary Laing and the late David Laing. The company is also made possible through support by The George Cadbury Fund, The Amar-Franses and Foster-Jenkins Trust, The GNC Trust, The Gitta Tangye Trust, The GJW Turner Trust, The Noël Coward Foundation, Monuskin, and Thriplow Charitable Trust.
