All performances are accompanied by BRB's orchestra and Britain’s busiest ballet orchestra, the Royal Ballet Sinfonia. Under the direction of Music Director Paul Murphy, the Sinfonia performs extensively with BRB across the UK and internationally. In addition to its work with the Company, the orchestra regularly performs with The Royal Ballet and has a long-standing tradition of collaborating with many of the world’s leading ballet companies, including the Australian Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Queensland Ballet, Paris Opéra Ballet, and New York City Ballet. The Sinfonia has also appeared with Acosta Danza, the company founded by BRB Director Carlos Acosta. This summer, the Royal Ballet Sinfonia play for the State Ballet of Georgia for the first time.
