Audio described performances

Audio description is a live verbal commentary on the visual elements of a ballet as it unfolds. Our audio describers are experts who explain the dance steps, the story, and the sets and props in a way that matches the pace and mood of the performance. The majority of our performances are accompanied by live music from our acclaimed orchestra the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.

Audio description is available at specified matinee performances (usually Saturdays) and at relaxed performances.
